Snowflakes and Quilts is a name I just came up with a few minutes ago, like less than 2 minutes ago, so figured I'd try my hand at blogging.
I have always loved snow and the wonderful shapes of snowflakes but not really the cold weather that comes with snow! Remember spending hours as a kid cutting out paper snowflakes and decorating the windows at home and school.
I have always loved quilts and remember spending hours sitting under my Grandma's quilt frames playing while she quilted. I was 'allowed' to play with her empty spools of thread as long as I didn't get the spools mixed up as she had to know how many spools she used on a quilt because she charged 5 cents, yep 5 cents, a spool for quilting. Sure hope there was more money involved than that.
